A letter written by Franco Vidaurri towards the municipal government. The letter was written in 1820 and recounts the author's lived experiences in Monclova where Native American attacks took place. Poinsett outlines the paranoia and scapegoating he believes is occurring domestically in Mexico, mainly direct towards him in his capacity as the representative of the United States. Poinsett also outlines the dissolution occurring domestically in Mexico. This is a local newspaper bulletin from July 18, 1845 in Puebla, Mexico. The purpose of the bulletin is to inform the reader of the threat posed by the United States with their annexation of Texas. There was fear regarding the loss of land to the United States. The article appeals to Mexican pride and nationalism not to allow the Anglos to usurp Mexican land. —— Esto es un boletín local en un periódico de 18 Julio, 1845 en Puebla, Mexico. The 1855 Mexican Law Decree was mandated on February 13, 1855, in Mexico, and it was decreed by President Santa Anna and signed by Governor of the Federal District Martin Carrera and Secretary Joaquin Noriega. The edict relates to the topic of municipal governance, including appointments from the central government. This decree also conveyed the centralization of the government under Santa Anna's regime. —— El Decreto de Ley Mexicana de 1855 se ordenó el 13 de febrero de 1855 en México, y fue decretado por el presidente Santa Anna y firmado por el gobernador del Distrito Federal Martín Carrera y el secretario Joaquín Noriega.
